Again, she is asked if there’s any way for the plants to protect themselves. She responds by saying, “there are some things, some hardware modifications that can be put in place to make some of the equipment more resilient in case of a threat.”
Yet again, she is asked, “Are the plants doing those things currently?” To this she replies, “I don’t know the status of the whole industry.” She further explains that while “the plants were evaluated to be relatively resilient, the grid is the weak point.” She claims she is unaware of the status of any efforts to protect the grid.

Our Plan is Simple
We can create a network of accessible, necessary resources for DC residents. In the event of a permanent nationwide blackout, you will be able to easily find clean water, food, and seeds.
We will dig water wells all around the area.
We will plant an abundance of food in DC to prepare for the coming winter months. In particular, we will plant endless seed-bearing plants that can be used to grow microgreens. Microgreens can be grown and harvested within 7 days and provide adequate nutrition. This way we can greatly reduce the risk of starvation in our community.
We will securely bury food and seeds.
We will build water filtration systems in order to utilize the natural water sources around us.
